Meet The Tuckers
Hi. We are Rebel and Ward and we have lived with our family here in Lake Cathie for over 8 years. We have taken an opportunity to bring healthy and locally produced options to our local community in this gorgeous little space with a glorious view of the lake.
Our health journey began over 30 years ago when Rebel entered the health and fitness profession as an aerobics instructor, and in 1990 embarked upon studies as a Naturopath with Sydney’s leading health institute, Nature Care College.
Having a family, we know the importance of eating and living well, and understand the need to make the best choices that are both affordable and convenient.
We value what truly serves the wellbeing of our family, community and the planet.
With decades of experience in both retail and clinical health we aim to bring you the products that we love and know support health and wellbeing.
Our Vision
We have a desire to connect with local businesses, producers and suppliers…and provide healthier options to our local area. As a family living with a naturopath mum (Rebel) we have tended towards brands that are healthier, less processed, and…more natural. We aim to keep our home pantry and cupboards filled with items that keep us well. This is not necessarily easy, as sometimes things might appear healthy, but when you look at the ingredients they are not. We avoid conventional items you’d commonly find in bigger chains…instead opting for brands that match our ‘What’s Healthy – Guidelines’ and are as local as we can get.
We want to offer alternatives that support small businesses and local producers who are passionate about what they do. Our goal with the Whole Health Store is to share what we believe to be truly healthy options and help you to fill your pantry and home with things that are good for you and the planet. We want you to experience the convenience of finding the things you and your family need for living well in one place, no matter your dietary or lifestyle needs.
We offer unique local products from small businesses, quality natural supplements, healthy pantry goods, eco gifts, seasonal local groceries, luscious natural skin and personal care ranges, and select natural products that are produced ethically by companies that we know and trust.
Our Products
We are in the process of stocking up our little store. We have made some great contacts with locals and suppliers who support our vision. We have a variety of well know and trusted brands of supplements, skin care and pantry products.
Local Produce
We believe in keeping it local! As much as possible we source quality seasonal produce from farmers and families we know. We want to support them and hope you’ll support us to do that.
Quality Supplements
We want to help you eat well and live well. Diet first! And…when you need that extra support you can rely on us to help you select products that are worth it. We are not about having every brand…just brands that our experience tells us are good.
Skin Care That You'll Love
Our Naturopath, Rebel, loves a select range of skin care brands. They have got to be as natural as possible, gentle, not too expensive and good enough to eat! Two of her favourites are Antipodes and Botani. We hope to add a locally produced range to our offerings.
